You can add all kinds of ingredients that you like to an omelette, and thats what makes it great. This recipe is per omelet. I will list some ingredients to put in, as they are all optional, but help in giving you an idea on what to add.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Milk
Shredded cheese
salt
pepper
Mushrooms
Ham
Onion
Peppers
Sausage
Now I start by getting a frying pan and heating it up over medium heat. You can use cooking spray, butter, a little olive oil, whatever you would like to grease the pan. As for ingredients, I usually just use mushrooms, ham, and a little onion. So while the pan is heating I cutting up fresh mushrooms, the ham, and onion. Once the pan has heated I throw those in. I give them a couple of minutes to heat up and to start cooking. In a bowl I combine the 2 eggs and about 2 tbsp of milk. I beat those together, and pour them into the frying pan with all the other ingredients still in there. After it has settled, about 20 seconds, you can sprinkle on the salt and pepper, or even some garlic. After about a minute, top the omelet with the shredded cheese, and let that all cook together, it shouldn't be long, and there you go, a quick and easy breakfast.
