Banana Chocolate Pie with Cool Whip and Toasted Coconut

Here is a recipe I came up with.  I used an already made Pillsbury dough crust.

Preheat the oven to 350.
Pie Crust
Egg
I started by spreading the pie crust on the pie plate and spread some of a beaten egg on the crust.  Also, be sure to cut off any excess pie crust.  Place the pie crust in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Bananas
Sugar
Coconut
Lemon Juice
Take 2 bananas and cut them up and place them layered onto the bottom of the pie crust.   Sprinkle sugar and a little lemon juice over the bananas.  Take some coconut and sprinkle that over the bananas, sugar and lemon juice.  Place that in the oven for about 5 more minutes.

2 Packages of Instant pudding mix
Prepare the instant pudding mix as directed.  Once done, pour the pudding mixture over the bananas and let the pie set until cool.

Cool whip
Toasted Coconut
Once the pie has cooled, put cool whip on the top of the pie.  To toast the coconut I simply put the coconut onto a baking sheet into the oven for a couple of minutes.  Watch carefully.  Once done, sprinkle the coconut onto the pie.
